How swiftly the seasons change! As we embrace the freshness of spring and embark on recovery from the recent ice storm, I am thrilled to celebrate my 4th decade as a State Farm Agent. My journey began in 1994 in Escanaba, MI, after my time as an adult educator for a major electric company in Southeast Wisconsin. In 1995, I relocated to Petoskey, where I was fortunate to meet my wonderful wife, Phyllis. For the past 25 years, she has flourished as a dedicated real estate agent in our vibrant community. Originally from Indian River, Phyllis has opened my eyes to the breathtaking beauty of Burt Lake, Crooked River, and the Indian River, especially as they come alive in spring's vibrant hues. Together, we are blessed with five children and nine grandchildren who bring endless joy to our lives, much like the blooming flowers that brighten our days.
One of our favorite activities is exploring the inland waterway, where we love to go boating and fishing on the picturesque rivers and lakes that spring brings to life. As the weather warms, we enjoy playing pickleball outdoors, often found at the lively courts in Petoskey, Harbor Springs, Charlevoix, or Boyne City, and at North Central Michigan College when spring showers send us indoors.
